The client: a woman 94 years 160 cm 80 kg
We are looking for a patient and warm-hearted caregiver for a 94-year-old lady. The senior is 160 cm tall, weighs 80 kg, and after suffering a heart attack, stroke, and femur fracture (in May 2024), she is classified at care level 2. Despite her health complications, she is friendly, open, and determined. She is not demented, is fully oriented, engages in simple conversations, and can clearly express her needs. She lives alone, with close family residing nearby who arrange medical visits. The lady moves with the help of a walker for short distances. She requires assistance with hygiene, dressing, using the toilet, and being accompanied on stairs. She is partially incontinent (uses pads or adult diapers), but does not need help at night. The caregiver will be responsible for household assistance (cleaning, laundry, shopping), ensuring the daily routine, and providing pleasant company. Responsibility for medication lies with the family or nursing service; the caregiver only needs to remind her to take them. Night work is not required. Accommodation is provided in a family house with an area of 110 m², where the caregiver has a separate room with a bed, wardrobe, table, chair, and TV. Internet is currently being arranged. Leisure activities are by agreement.
