Job description

We are looking for a caregiver for a 91-year-old senior woman. The senior lives alone in a large family house and needs assistance with daily activities. She has early-stage dementia appropriate for her age, left-sided paralysis with occasional spasms, and epilepsy under stress. However, she is neurologically stable and calm on a typical day. She has reduced vision in one eye, is not an advocate of physical activity or walks, and spends most of the day sleeping. In the morning, she gets up later, usually around 11 AM, and requires only two meals a day. The senior moves around the house independently but is unstable—especially on the stairs, where she needs assistance. Help is needed with dressing, hygiene, eating, and using the toilet, but lifting is not required. At night, she may wake up once for the toilet and also wears diapers. Medications are pre-prepared for several weeks in advance and need to be administered regularly while monitoring their intake. Household chores include cooking, cleaning, and shopping (the store is approximately 2 km away, and heavier items can be delivered). A gardener assists in the garden. The caregiver has access to a separate living unit of 70 m² with a private bathroom, living room, Wi-Fi, and basic furnishings. Time off is by agreement, and it is often possible to spend free time in the house and occasionally outside when the senior is stable.
