Good knowledge of German is required, and smoking is not tolerated. A car with a manual transmission is available, hence a driver's license is necessary. The client suffers from general senile weakness and an increased risk of falling. She moves only very short distances within the house using a walker and uses a wheelchair outside. Forgetfulness and marked stubbornness are typical for her age, so it is important for the caregiver to set boundaries and handle challenging behavior. Available equipment includes a commode chair, stair lift, adjustable bed, and emergency button. Responsibilities include supervising medication intake, assisting with dressing and hygiene to a partial assistance extent, supporting the client in standing and walking, guiding her in the bathroom, and ensuring walks with the wheelchair. The client can manage food intake independently. The role also involves meal preparation, shopping, cleaning, laundry, accompanying to the doctor, and arranging transportation. Night work is not required, and lifting is not needed daily, depending on the client's current condition. Her orientation is appropriate for her age, and she manages the toilet independently. The household consists only of the client. Accommodation is provided in a guest room with a shared bathroom and internet access. Time off is arranged individually in agreement with the family.

The salary range in Germany is between €1200 and €2200 per month on a trade license. Compensation depends on the required language and other skills, the client's health condition, and whether care is provided for an individual or a married couple. In Switzerland, the salary ranges from 2460 to 2500 CHF per month on a Swiss employment contract.
