Caregiving for a 76-year-old client (100 kg, 180 cm) living in Zülpich Enzen, Germany. The position is available as soon as possible. The client has Parkinson's disease and was hospitalized on January 12 due to a urinary tract infection following an akinetic crisis. His condition has rapidly deteriorated, and he will be transferred to the internal medicine department. Currently, he is mostly bedridden, requires a wheelchair, and complete transfer assistance, with a urinal bottle available. It is essential for the caregiver to have sufficient physical strength for lifting. The client's orientation varies daily. Complete assistance is needed with hygiene, dressing, toileting, standing, and transfers, as well as with food intake, where the client only needs guidance. The role also includes taking walks with the wheelchair, meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, and shopping, with family assistance available for transportation since stores are not within walking distance. Morning basic care is provided by a nursing service, while other tasks are handled by the caregiver. Night work is required depending on the client's current condition. The client's wife, who has dementia but is relatively independent, also lives in the household. Regular household tasks are needed for her as well. The family lives together on one property in separate apartments and manages medication preparation. Accommodation is in a separate guest room, which will be prepared before the start date. A private bathroom and internet are available. Time off is arranged individually with the family. Intermediate German language skills are required, smoking is permitted only outside, and a driver's license is not mandatory. There are large dogs in the household, so a positive attitude towards animals is necessary.
