a woman 88 years 160 cm 60 kg
We are looking for an experienced and reliable caregiver for long-term care of an 88-year-old lady living alone in a family house in the town of 66620 Nonnweiler Primstal, starting from February (earliest 1.2., latest 4.2.2026). The client suffers from mild dementia/Alzheimer's, is forgetful but without aggression, hallucinations, or escape tendencies. She has limited mobility, uses a walker, is incontinent, and wears incontinence briefs, thus requiring regular support with hygiene, accompaniment to the toilet or commode chair, assistance with dressing, undressing, getting up, and going to bed. The caregiver will also be responsible for cooking, cleaning, ironing, shopping (approximately 10 minutes on foot), preparing fresh meals, caring for a cat, eating together, conversations, walks, playing board games, watching television, support in daily life, creating a daily structure, and accompanying to appointments as needed. Night work is required once per night (accompanying to the toilet). We require a woman with a good knowledge of German, a non-smoker indoors, without pets; a driver's license is not necessary, and a bicycle can be provided. The caregiver can be picked up. Accommodation is in a separate guest room (20 m²) with a bed, wardrobe, table, and internet. The remuneration is 84 EUR/day + 180 EUR travel expenses per shift. Free time is limited to 30–60 minutes per day (or when the client sleeps), with the possibility of one free day per week. The family lives further away but can assist by phone or occasionally in person; a small dog may be present in the household during the son's visit. Until 5.2., a caregiver from Georgia will be present to train the new caregiver. Each caregiver has one room.

No, completing a caregiving course is not necessary for most job positions; however, it is important to have at least some experience from a home environment.
Finding a family is a highly individual matter for each applicant, and therefore there is no exact timeframe for when we will find you a family with whom you will be mutually compatible. In some cases, we are able to arrange work within a few days; in other instances, the waiting period can be up to a month. For families in Switzerland, due to high demand, the wait may extend to two months.
If you are interested, we can arrange transportation for you. We have long-term partnerships with transport companies that our caregivers happily use repeatedly. Of course, you can also choose another transportation method that you prefer. The caregiver pays for the journey themselves, with the family in Germany contributing €150-200 towards it, and in Switzerland 380 CHF.
In Germany, the standard length of a work period is 4 to 6 weeks, while in Switzerland it's 2 months. In the case of temporary replacements, the periods are shorter.
The salary range in Germany is between €1200 and €2200 per month on a trade license. In Switzerland, the salary ranges from 2460 to 2500 CHF per month on a Swiss employment contract.
In Germany, an intermediate to good knowledge of German is most commonly required, while some families are satisfied with basic knowledge and/or require knowledge of another language, such as Czech or Russian. Families in Switzerland require good knowledge of German, though sometimes an upper-intermediate level is sufficient.
