Caregiving for a 77-year-old gentleman (160 cm, 75 kg) in Lambsheim (village), who lives with his wife. He suffers from dementia/Alzheimer's, currently manifested only by forgetfulness, and early-stage Parkinson's, primarily showing as a lack of motivation. He is mobile in the house with a walker and needs accompaniment while walking, but he gets out of bed independently, so lifting is not required. For safety, he wears incontinence briefs, and protective bed pads are available. He eats independently, and his wife prepares his medication in advance. The caregiver provides companionship, accompanies him on walks, engages him in activities, assists with household tasks (laundry in the basement laundry room, cleaning, cooking as desired), personal hygiene, dressing, and small shopping errands (Rewe store nearby, accessible on foot). Night work is occasionally required, depending on the daily condition, possibly assisting with toilet visits. The caregiver has access to a guest room (10 m²) in the house (120 m²), furnished, with internet; free time is arranged with the family. A woman with intermediate German skills is sought (a man is acceptable in urgent cases), smoking is tolerated only outside the apartment, no driver's license required; no pets are desired in the household.

Caregiving for a man after a severe stroke (approximately 3 months ago) in Elmshorne. The client (170 cm, 70 kg) is significantly physically weakened, requires a walker for mobility, and uses a wheelchair for walks; he has experienced several falls recently. He can get up from the nursing bed on his own and does not need to be lifted, although partial assistance with repositioning is sometimes necessary. He must be weighed daily due to swelling (water retention) in his legs. He is fully oriented to time, place, and people, mentally fit, and enjoys talking about old stories; demanding conversation is not expected, and he manages exercises independently. He requires partial assistance with dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene, and is completely dependent on assistance for eating. He wears incontinence aids, which are changed as needed. The job also includes cleaning and laundry care. Night work is mostly not required, depending on the daily condition. His stepdaughter and her husband live in the apartment above him, and the caregiver's free time is arranged in agreement with her. There is a cat in the household, so a positive attitude towards animals is expected. The caregiver has access to a separate guest room (15 m²) in the house (70 m²) with internet. A woman with good German language skills is sought, smoking is tolerated only outside the apartment, and there is no need for a driver's license. Start as soon as possible.

Caregiving for a 94-year-old senior (170 cm, 65 kg) in Nuremberg, who is mobile within the house using a wheelchair. The senior suffers from significant dementia/Alzheimer's, but knows who he is, who his wife is, and where he lives; temporal and spatial orientation is only partially preserved, while orientation towards people is maintained. Requires complete transfer assistance (lifting with help), and may not always be able to cooperate, depending on the daily condition. Work follows a precise daily schedule (Mon–Sat): 11:45–13:45 breakfast and basic hygiene, 13:45–15:45 dementia-focused activities (gymnastics, games, wheelchair walks), 15:45–18:45 break, 18:45–20:45 preparation and serving of a hot dinner (for the senior, his wife, and the caregiver) and cleaning up, 20:45–22:30 break, 22:30–23:00 basic hygiene and putting to bed. From 5:00 to 9:00, the caregiver is on call (with a baby monitor), with 0–2 interventions needed for assistance with urination, after 9:00 the wife takes over on-call duties. Approximately half an hour daily for shopping (can be combined with a walk). A cleaner comes once a week, and a physiotherapist visits 3 times a week (Mon, Wed, Fri) for 40 minutes. Sunday is free. The wife lives in the house, does not require caregiving herself, but approximately 5 times a week a third hot dinner is prepared, and additional groceries are purchased as agreed. The apartment is 220 m², the caregiver's room is 114 m² with a private bathroom and 2 balconies, internet available. Free time is flexible (whole day or two half-days), as agreed. Looking for a caregiver aged 40–60 years, gender not specified, with good German language skills, smoking tolerated only outside the apartment, and it is desirable not to wake up very early (late dinner and waking up).

Caregiving for an 80-year-old senior (160 cm, 60 kg) in Helmstadt-Bargen (village, ZIP code 74921), dependency level 3. She does not have dementia, is well-oriented to place, time, and people, has clear speech, and communicates well. The primary diagnosis is urinary incontinence (without fecal incontinence). She uses a wheelchair but can take a few steps with a walker with support, and transfer can be assisted. She requires partial help with dressing, personal hygiene (including showering), and toileting, although she assists with dressing and hygiene as much as she can. She eats independently, shares meals with the caregiver, and needs to maintain adequate hydration. At night, she needs to be accompanied to the toilet once. Medication is prepared by someone else; the caregiver only ensures administration. The job also includes meal preparation, shopping, cleaning, and laundry care. Her partner (dependency level 2) also lives in the household (apartment 131 m²), is mobile with a walker, and does not require direct care—the goal is to ease caregiving and household duties and provide the senior with more free space. The caregiver has a private room with a bed, wardrobe, table, chair, TV, WLAN, and internet; free time includes 2 half-days per week. A caregiver is sought, gender not specified, with intermediate German language skills, smoking tolerated only outside the apartment, with an active driver's license (car available).

Caregiving for an 84-year-old senior (180 cm, 64 kg) in Emmendingen-Liptingen (village), dependency level 4. The senior has experienced a fall and hospitalization (09/2026), suffers from urinary incontinence (pads) and hypertension, but no fecal incontinence. Walking is unsteady, with a risk of falls, has a stiff foot and lacks strength, but walks independently with a walker; usually manages to get up from bed/chair without support. Also suffers from alcohol misuse – prescribed amounts are given diluted without his awareness; he is not aggressive. He does not suffer from dementia, is fully oriented to place, time, and persons, has clear speech, and communicates well. Hearing and vision are age-appropriate, without limitations. He is headstrong, self-determination is important to him, initially reserved to dismissive – building trust takes time. Care includes partial assistance with dressing and personal hygiene (showering, hair washing, shaving), while he manages meals independently (enjoys sweets with afternoon coffee, attention to hydration is needed). Medications are administered by a caregiving service. Job responsibilities also include shopping, meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, providing company, and encouraging walks; the senior is interested in football, sports, and crime series. A domestic helper visits four times a week, assisting with household tasks, shopping, and bringing lunch from the butcher. A garden is available, but no maintenance is required. Smoking is allowed exclusively in the kitchen or outside, with controlled cigarette count. Night work is possible, but has not been necessary so far. The caregiver has a private room with a bed, wardrobe, TV, WLAN, and a private bathroom. A decisive yet empathetic caregiver with good German skills is sought (smoking is not important for her). Start as soon as possible.

The daily routine includes a walk in the garden, afternoon coffee at 16:00, watching television, and conversations at 17:30. Three times a week, the husband spends the evening doing sports, and the caregiver is needed at home until his return, including administering medication at 22:30.
A driver's license and good knowledge of the German language are required.
