Night service and lifting are not required. Available are a wheelchair, walker, toilet chair, adjustable bed, and toilet grab bars. The wife lives with the gentleman, manages the household independently, and also takes care of medication and diabetes care — the main role of the caregiver is to relieve the wife so she can leave the house without the gentleman being alone for an extended period; household help as needed. A Bengal cat lives in the apartment. The couple lives centrally, with a shopping center and other stores within walking distance. The caregiver has a private apartment (60 m²) with a bathroom, balcony, brand new kitchen, and internet available. Requirements for the caregiver: female, intermediate (up to good) knowledge of German, smoking only outside the apartment, driver's license desirable (not mandatory), car available, must like animals.
