A caregiver with intermediate German language skills is sought for an 84-year-old lady who lives alone in a family house with an area of 110 m². The senior is 160 cm tall and weighs 40 kg. She is physically weakened but mentally completely sound and oriented. She suffers from osteoporosis and has experienced multiple vertebral fractures as well as a femur fracture in recent months. She uses a walker (rollator) and has an increased risk of falls, but she is not completely immobile – for example, she can put on her shoes by herself. She can only go up and down stairs with support. Additionally, she has cataracts, which she treats herself with eye drops, and uses incontinence briefs. The senior manages and takes her medication independently – no medical care is required from the caregiver. The caregiver will assist with dressing, especially with compression stockings, and as needed with personal hygiene. She will prepare meals, perform light household chores (complete cleaning is not required), accompany the senior in daily activities, support her in movement (e.g., during walks), motivate her to move, and do small shopping trips. Shops like Aldi, Edeka, and a bakery are within walking distance. Occasional light garden work is welcome if the caregiver is interested. Night work is not required. Lifting is not necessary. The caregiver has access to a furnished room with a bed, desk, shelves, wardrobe, and internet connection. Time off can be arranged with the family.

The salary range in Germany is between €1200 and €2200 per month on a trade license. Compensation depends on the required language and other skills, the client's health condition, and whether care is provided for an individual or a married couple. In Switzerland, the salary ranges from 2460 to 2500 CHF per month on a Swiss employment contract.
